4 Signs You Might Have Goal Fatigue
Are you that kind of person that loves the thrill of chasing big scary goals?
Do you have a hard time staying still because you’re always working towards the next big idea?
Do your friends often complain and say “Krista make sure not to burn yourself out again… why do you always have to be working on something? Can’t you just relax?!”
If this is the case then you might be susceptible to suffering from goal fatigue.
Goal fatigue is a common occurrence for life coaches, type A people, high achievers, and perfectionists. We tend to get addicted to the thrill of constantly pushing ourselves outside our comfort zones in order to achieve the next level of success. However this can frazzle out our nervous systems leaving us with burnout, exhaustion and overworked adrenal glands if we don't give ourselves time to pause and rest.
These are some signs below that you might have goal fatigue:
The things that used to excite you no longer do, you feel no motivation whatsoever
The littlest tasks exhaust you and you would rather focus on self care
You don’t rest or celebrate accomplishments because you’re always chasing the next big goal
You have too many goals at the same time and putting pressure on yourself to accomplish them too quickly
